Birth Through History

Birth through History is a Knowledge Exchange Partnership between Oxford University, the Library and Archives of the Royal College of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians (London) and the De partu history of midwifery and childbirth research group. Historians, archivists, midwives and doctors are exploring the history of pregnancy and childbirth, from the earliest printed texts on midwifery in Europe to the present day.
